Besides a barrel of laughs, great locations and pure enjoyment, a day of learning with Tom includes not just the practical application of equipment and technique, but learning about styles of flylines and so much more!
- One night self catering stay at the Boathouse, Dundas Castle, South Queensferry. Relax, unwind and enjoy the breath-taking views from this charming self-catering cottage situated on the bank of the loch within the picturesque Dundas Estate!
A day’s shooting for 4 guns walking on Longformacus in the Scottish Borders. The day aims to provide a variety of species, with the chance of pheasant, teal, mallard, pigeon and rabbit, and an expected return of 40+ per gun.
Our Silent Auction runs from 8 December until 22nd January 2026. Proceeds will support our vital work in providing information and support to more men and their families, and continue our work to raise further awareness of prostate cancer and disease.

Last year, our fundraising efforts, including a similar auction, received an overwhelming response. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised substantial funds to expand initiatives such as our ToolBox Workshops in workplaces across Scotland. This year, donations can continue to fund this initiative and others such as our Living Well with Prostate Cancer courses and Prostate FFIT exercise programmes. We aim to build on these successes and continue making a difference in the lives of those affected by prostate cancer and disease.

Our Silent Auction is part of the fundraising Prestonfield Burns Supper. Join us to celebrate the life and poetry of Robert Burns – grab a ticket while you can – it would make a great Christmas gift! It’s a very special night at the stunning Prestonfield House in Edinburgh on Thursday 22nd January. It’s an evening packed full of entertainment. There’s a line-up of brilliant Burns speakers, traditional live music and more wonderful prizes in our live fundraising auction. The delicious three-course dinner features the very best of Scotland’s larder. Priced at £95 per head, treat your friends, family or buy a table of ten! The Prestonfield team is on hand to take your booking.
You don’t have to attend our Prestonfield Burns Supper to take part in our Silent Auction – although we’d love it if you could take part in both!
