A very big thank you to the Rolling Hills Chorus for inviting us to their virtual Christmas party last week.  The Chorus has generously supported our work for several years and we were delighted to join their joyful festive celebration.

Each year the Rolling Hills Chorus raises funds in aid of our work at their annual Christmas concert and on other occasions throughout the year.  As the Chorus was unable to hold their usual concert, they kindly held a virtual Christmas party online and donated to a JustGiving page instead.  The Chorus raised the fantastic sum of £961.25 including Gift Aid!

In April, the Chorus became our first virtual fundraisers when they held a Virtual Pub Quiz.  Their fun event, supported by members, family and friends raised over £1,100 in aid of our work.

Their Christmas party was enthusiastically hosted

by Musical Director Rosalind and was full of fantastic festive surprises, storytelling and of course, wonderful singing.  The evening also included a few rounds of quiz questions.  ‘Quizzletoe and Wine’ was our favourite quiz team name!

The evening was rounded off with the whole chorus singing ‘O Holy Night’ in a virtual recording.

Our heartfelt thanks and festive greetings go to Rosalind and all the members of the Rolling Hills Chorus for their continuous support and generous donations.  We look forward to seeing their live performances again in future.
