Thank you for fundraising in aid of our work. We’ve received your Supernova Kelpies registration form and we’re delighted to have your support!  We look forward to supporting you in your fundraising efforts. Our aim with this page is to give you some helpful tips and make your fundraising even more enjoyable, so please do read it!

Please note, we’re a separate charity from Prostate Cancer UK. We appreciate the important work they do, but we’re not the same charity. If you meant to fundraise for them instead, please get in touch and we will sort you out.

If you have registered to run with a Charity Place, please keep an eye out for an email from JustRunning.

This is the fundraising event partner and you need to register with them to be able to set up your JustGiving account.

Make sure to check your spam/junk folders.

Fundraising – getting started

When you get a moment, please read our Fundraising Pack which includes a link to our Merchandise List. The pack includes support and ideas for how to kickstart your fundraising campaign. It also includes excellent fundraising tips from JustGiving to help inspire you.

Once you have set up your JustGiving page, we suggest aiming to update as frequently as possible to make the most of your fundraising. Fundraisers who update their profile pictures and story sections raise more funds on average than those who don’t. If you would like to order some merchandise, please get in contact.

If you’ve requested a t-shirt, we’ll send it to you in time for the event or within the month, whichever is sooner.

If you’re collecting sponsorship money or donations by cash or cheques, please use our Sponsorship and Gift Aid Declaration Form. We kindly ask that you only use this form; any self-made forms may not be valid. If a donor confirms that they are a taxpayer and agree that they wish their donation to be eligible for Gift Aid, we can claim an extra 25% on their donation from HMRC.

Join our community!

If you’re capturing your running experience and sharing your pictures online, we and our event partners would love to see them! We have a lovely community of supporters on our social channels:

Please follow us and tag us too! We’d be happy to share any news or photos of you to support your fundraising.

Supporting you to navigate prostate cancer and disease

We realise you may be fundraising in support of a loved one or because you yourself may have been affected by prostate cancer. COMPASS is our comprehensive range of support services to help men across Scotland navigate prostate cancer. These services complement the care they receive from medical experts. Head to our Support Services section to find out what’s available in your area. And don’t forget, our Resources – our leaflets and booklets – is also available.

And finally…!

Do keep in touch and let us know how your fundraising is going – we’d love to see any photos or hear any stories about it.  You can get in touch with us at info@prostatescotland.org.uk for general enquiries. If you have any specific fundraising enquiries, reach out to abbie.campbell-mapplebeck@prostatescotland.org.uk and she will be happy to help.

Thanks again for your support!
