Thank you to our supporter Linda Taylor

…for taking up The 2.6 Challenge on 26 April and raising the wonderful sum of £300 in aid of Prostate Scotland.  Linda set herself the challenge of baking 26 cakes on her day off and held a bake sale at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, where she is a member of the Urology Team.

Prostate Scotland is delighted to receive Linda’s ongoing support, and thank you to all who donated.  Most of all, thank you Linda for your initiative and your hard work in creating 26 cakes.  Congratulations on your fantastic fundraising!

The 2.6 Challenge

The organisers of the biggest mass participation sports events across the country and charities have come together to create The 2.6 Challenge to raise funds to help support charities across Scotland and the UK, by asking people to safely fundraise for the cause close to their heart. The initiative, The 2.6 Challenge, launched on Sunday 26 April – which would have been the date of the 40th London Marathon and the Glasgow Kiltwalk.

If Linda’s efforts have got you inspired, head to our virtual fundraising page for more ideas.  Could you bake, cycle, sing, run or rise to a new challenge in aid of Prostate Scotland?
