We are celebrating Volunteers’ Week!

Thank you to our volunteers!

This week, we are celebrating the 41st annual Volunteers’ Week. This is a wonderful time to put the spotlight on our amazing volunteers here at Prostate Scotland and say a big thank you for their time.

Did you know that volunteering added £4.6 billion in productivity gains to the UK economy in 2024? It is clear that volunteers are invaluable to charities across the country and as a small organisation of 10 staff members, we rely on our network of volunteers throughout Scotland to reach as many men and their families as possible.

Our volunteers help the charity in many different ways whether it be hosting awareness talks, assisting at Toolbox Workshops, attending cheque presentations, cheering our runners or walkers on at cheer points or helping around the office – it wouldn’t be the same without them!
