Thank you to the Rotary Club of Hamilton
We’d like to say a very big thank you to the Rotary Club of Hamilton.
We were delighted to meet the members of the club online last month when we joined their meeting. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to talk about our work, prostate awareness, and introduce our COMPASS project.
The Rotary Club of Hamilton supported our work in January 2020 by organising a sponsored cycle on static bikes. The popular one day event was part of the national Rotary Ride for Prostate Cancer initiative. The members raised the magnificent sum of £4,001.25 in aid of our work.
During our virtual presentation we spoke about our work, prostate awareness and potential symptoms of prostate disease. We also spoke about the range of information leaflets and booklets we provide to men and their families across Scotland. We introduced our exciting new COMPASS project. COMPASS is our range of support and wellbeing services to help men navigate prostate cancer and disease. We were pleased to share news of the services we are currently developing across Scotland.
Our meeting was rounded off with a few questions and we thanked the members for their phenomenal fundraising. We were delighted to make a virtual presentation of their Certificate of Thanks.
The support of the Rotary Club of Hamilton has enabled us to reach out to many more people in their community. We’d like to thank everyone who sponsored them in their Rotary Ride for Prostate Cancer.
