New service for Lanarkshire prostate cancer patients

Introducing our new service for Lanarkshire prostate cancer patients

Maggie’s and Prostate Scotland are delighted to be working together to bring our Living Well with Prostate Cancer course for men diagnosed with prostate cancer to Maggie’s Lanarkshire.

The course is specifically designed for men undergoing treatment or having recently finished treatment for prostate cancer.  It will run over a 6-week period.  Men will meet others in a similar situation and discuss various topics including managing side effects, the practicalities of living with prostate cancer, diet, exercise and finances.

Each session will last around 1.5 hours and the course is free.  It takes place at Maggie’s Lanarkshire in the grounds of Monklands Hospital in Airdrie.  Feedback from participants attending elsewhere is proving that involvement will be very beneficial to patients with prostate cancer.

Just call or email Maggie’s Lanarkshire to join our next course.
