Join us for Scotland’s Kiltwalk 2021

Join us for Scotland’s Kiltwalk 2021 to support Prostate Scotland!  A live event is planned to take place in Glasgow on Sunday 26 September.*  The date has moved from August to give the vaccine rollout another four weeks.  It’s a fantastically popular walking event due to its fun and friendly atmosphere – our supporters enjoy it immensely. You’ll receive a warm welcome and lots of support at the Kiltwalk whether you take a wee wander or make mighty strides!

The sponsorship you raise in Scotland’s Kiltwalk 2021 will be topped up by a fantastic 50% by The Hunter Foundation.

Your fundraising will help us to take forward our work to ensure that even more men and their families can benefit from and receive information and support on prostate issues.  You can read more about our work here.

Scotland’s Virtual Kiltwalk events held by Kiltwalkers over the past year have been very well supported.

The Virtual Kiltwalk in April 2021 was a fantastic success, raising a phenomenal £6.1 million for 1,055 charities across Scotland.  Kiltwalkers’ fundraising totalled £4.1 million, with a £2.05 million 50% boost by The Hunter Foundation.  Across the weekend, 11,500 Scots took on walking, running and even dancing challenges – all active challenges were encouraged!

Andrew's Kiltwalk Team

Pictured here is Andrew Edgar from Moffat and his Magnificent Ten team, who took part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk three years ago and raised over £4,500.  Said Andrew “we are all delighted to have been part of this fund-raising campaign, but, I could not have done this without the help of the guys…This has given us all the “feel-good factor” – knowing we have all been part of something good.”

Registration will open at The Kiltwalk | Events as soon as we get the green light and when it’s safe to do so.

In the meantime, if you’d like to register with Prostate Scotland for a free place in the event to raise funds in aid of our work, head to our page at prostatescotland.org.uk/events/scotlands-kiltwalk-2021 to submit your form – it just takes a couple of minutes, we promise!
