Get Prostate FFIT with Airdrie FC

Our new season of Prostate FFIT is heading to Airdrie!

We’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with Airdrie Community Trust- Prostate FFIT is coming to Airdrie FC at Albert Bartlett Stadium!

We’ve teamed up with the SPFL Trust to run our unique Prostate Football Fans in Training (Prostate FFIT) programme across Scotland. The programme is open to all men affected by prostate cancer. It’s a brilliant opportunity to meet men in a similar situation, share experiences, improve fitness levels and most importantly, have some fun!

Based on the hugely successful Football Fans in Training delivered by professional football clubs and the SPFL Trust, Prostate Football Fans in Training has been running since 2023. Rangers, Hearts, Kilmarnock, St Johnstone, Aberdeen and Dundee football clubs have all run Prostate FFIT and our ‘players’ have loved taking part!

One previous ‘player’ said: “When I first heard about the PFFIT course I was unsure about it as I was due to return to work and wasn’t convinced the walking football and fitness aspect would be as beneficial to me as others. I’m very glad I did decide to do this course as not only is it worthwhile in many ways it is also tailored to suit a range of ages and fitness… It brings people together in a group but it is far more than just chatting and some cobbled together advice.  It is a highly structured, tailored course that builds a framework and a template to take forward into the future… it has been a very valuable course to be a part of which has helped me greatly in coming to terms with the big changes in my life and I’m very grateful for this.“

Kicking off on Wednesday 13th Janaury from 7pm, the free programme will run for 13 weeks. Each session is split into two halves – learning and exercise – with exercise videos for homework!

There are just 16 places available and you can register at:
