Bowmer and Kirkland put their best foot forward for Kiltwalk

B+K Ramblers support Prostate Scotland at Edinburgh Kiltwalk!

Employees of construction company Bowmer and Kirkland, who are working on the former Scottish Widows site at Port Hamilton in Edinburgh, are putting their best foot forward to walk 11 miles at the Edinburgh Kiltwalk on 13th September in aid of Prostate Scotland. The group of 15, named the B+K Ramblers will take part in the Big Stroll. They’ll start off from the East Lothian coast at Musselburgh and finish at the iconic Murrayfield Stadium, the home of Scottish Rugby.

Prostate Scotland has become the chosen charity for the team as employees were keen to support a Scottish charity local to them. When the team arrived in our neighbourhood, a couple of doors down from our office, they dropped in to introduce themselves to the Prostate Scotland staff. Since our first meeting with the team, we’ve delivered awareness talks to their employees on site. Now the team are donning their tartan and Prostate Scotland t-shirts to raise funds at the Edinburgh Kiltwalk!

“We’re delighted to have Bowmer and Kirkland on board for this year’s Edinburgh Kiltwalk”

Prostate Scotland CEO Alison Wright said: “We’re delighted to have Bowmer and Kirkland on board for this year’s Edinburgh Kiltwalk. We’re always keen for workplaces to take part in fundraising events such as the Kiltwalk as it’s a great event for colleagues to get together, have fun, have a bit of team building all while raising money for a cause important to them.”
