Run With Us for the Edinburgh Women’s 10k 2026 to Support Those Affected by Prostate Diseases.

The Edinburgh Women’s 10K is a fantastic run built around promoting inclusivity and community empowerment, making it an ideal opportunity to stretch your legs while fundraising to support our work. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in Scotland – with one in ten at risk. The good news is that the survival rate from prostate cancer has been increasing and by supporting us, you’ll help us to help increase it further. If you have family members or loved ones affected by prostate cancer or disease, the 10k is a great way to show your support for our work supporting them. Book your place here, or register for a free charity place in the form below.

How To Run With Us:

Charity Place:

We buy charity places which are available free of charge when you run in aid of Prostate Scotland.

The sponsorship you raise will help us to take forward our work ensuring that even more men and their families can receive information and support on prostate issues. You can read more about our work here.

We ask you to pledge to fundraise £150.

This covers the cost of your place and merchandise, along with a donation on top to help us continue our crucial work supporting those with prostate issues. We are keen to offer charity places to runners for free – it’s important to us that our fundraisers enjoy their running challenge, and not worry about fundraising targets that could be difficult to meet. If you have any questions about free charity places, please email us at: info@prostatescotland.org.uk

About the route:

Once you set off from the top of the historic Royal Mile, this stunning city centre route takes you downhill onto the Mound, where you’ll run past the Edinburgh Castle on your left with the Scottish National Gallery on your right. Once you arrive at Princes Street Gardens, you’ll pass the Sir Walter Scott Monument and head onto Waverley Bridge and head down the foot of the Royal Mile.  From there you’ll run past the modern Scottish Parliament building, completing a circuit of one side of Holyrood Park.  As you loop west, you’ll see Arthurs Seat, Holyrood Palace and Dynamic Earth, before you head along the Cowgate to the Grassmarket. As you reach its hustle and bustle you’re past the halfway point!  From there, you’ll continue on to the West Port and Lothian Road.  Then you’ll head on to the Western Approach Road, which will carry you on your way to a grandstand finish at BT Murrayfield Stadium, the home of Scottish Rugby.
