Get Involved

Prostate Scotland works across the whole of Scotland to advance and improve support and awareness of prostatic disease and to campaign for prostate issues to be higher up on the health agenda. We want to see a Scotland where there are further improvements in survival rates of people with prostate cancer, as well as an increase in awareness amongst men about the importance of prostate health and of getting advice and treatment early.

Prostate cancer is now Scotland's second largest cancer amongst men and 1 in 13 men in Scotland will get it during their life. Unfortunately, however, prostate health issues are not yet well enough known. One of our aims is to ensure that men, their families and partners have information that will help lead to early detection of disease and to assist people in getting help and knowing where to go for help, in order to increase their chances of cure.

We are a young organisation but have already been active in a variety of areas, but the need for activity across Scotland remains substantial. We would welcome your involvement and support in this task, which can be in a variety of ways:

Your help in whatever form, through fundraising activities or a donation, will assist us in ensuring that we can reach more men and their families and partners across Scotland and minimise the impact of prostate disease.
