Oncology Centre
There is a specialist cancer care team of urologists, oncologists, nurses and radiographers working on cancers including prostate cancers at the Beatson Oncology Centre, which also serves much of West of Scotland as part of what is called a Managed Clinical Network. Brachytherapy, external beam radiotherapy, intensity modulated radiotherapy and a new programme on cryotherapy are provided at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.
