Prostate services in Grampian are particularly provided for at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. These include radical radiotherapy and external beam radiotherapy, with 2 surgeons performing open radical prostatectomy. Patients are referred to the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh for brachytherapy.
There is also a cancer care centre for urological cancers at Ward 44 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary which is open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and the first Saturday of every month 2pm -5pm, run in partnership with UCAN.
